That site belongs to Meg, she is on the board. Right now she is super busy being a new Mom. You can also see her other website..

And her Felicity was a travel doll, you can see her in my albums. Felicity visits Long Island, she came last Christmas and we had tons of fun.

My rooms are sized 27" tall, 24" deep and 48" wide, which were the measurments that she gave. I used 11/32" (wierd, I know it's close to 3/8") for the sides and tp, and we've had some I think 3/4" plywood lying around unused and I'm using it for the floors. I didn't think that 1/4" was thick enough either.
I would imagine that 30" is high enough. It'll give you s few inches above the furniture for head room. If it is to high , then it looks ackward. At least it is that way with doll houses.
I found the name Jun for him by looking under Chinese boy names, looking for one that I would know how to pronounce or was familair. It means beautiful or handsome, I think. I think I shoul have written that down.
They are boys. Their the AG dolls, but I turned them into boys. I didn't cut their hair because A) I didn't want to cut the hair of a brand new doll. B) Cut doll hair never looks the same & C) Not all boys have short hair.
They look like boys to me, and I'm not alone in that idea. Sorry.
